CaptJose from Stuart FL | Scuba Diver

This is a I passion I like to share with properly trained and equipped divers, who feel the same way I feel about the ocean. I actually enjoy diving with less experienced divers as much as I like to dive with the most experienced ones - for me it’s all about the attitude and dedication. I own two boats that cost me tens of thousands of dollars to properly upkeep every year, so I need dive buddies who are willing and able to share the cost of the trips. Believe me when I say a dive trip on a private boat is far more expensive than any road trip, but there is nothing like diving unspoiled spots in small groups. I used to do many trips with friends and old dive charter clients who work their way into a close dive network, but the hit on the economy ruined it for all of us. Now I am basically starting it all over again so lets meet.

I am a Master Scuba Diver and a US Merchant Marine Officer, licensed as a Master of Steam or Motor Vessels - 100 Gross Registered Tons, with over 40 years experience both as a diver and a sailor. Retired from the US Coast Guard and currently living in the Stuart, FL area. My playgrounds extend all the way from Southeast Florida to the Lesser Antilles, with numerous hours under the waters off the Florida Keys, the Bahamas, and Puerto Rico.

Stay tuned, I will be posting on possible upcoming trips.

Check out the video of our dive last weekend off Ft. Lauderdale, FL. My son Miguel shot it and put it together. Go to:
