Hi Greg, I’m planning a road trip through Texas. Are there any good springs or lakes to dive. My route is from Florida, stopping in San Saba, TX on my way to California. So, I will probably stop in east Texas, which where I would be looking for diving or things to do.

One of my first stops on my up coming road trip will be either St Andrews State Park in Panama City Beach, Fl or Ft Pickens in Pensacola, Fl. The tides look like the will be timed well for shore diving in the second half of March. Is there anyone in those areas interested in diving those spots and times?

Along that route...I would suggest Blue Lagoon (divebuddy.com/divesite/1200/blue-lagoon-huntsville-tx/) and Stillhouse Hollow (divebuddy.com/divesite/1937/stillhouse-hollow-belton-tx/). Have fun!

Greg, thanks for booth the suggestions. Both are not that far off my route so they are both doable.

Whats the weather like at Lake Travis this time of the year?
Greg - 10/21/2015 8:01 AM
You can expect most of Lake Travis to be in the mid 70’s right now. Here is the link to Windy Point Park, the most popular Lake Travis dive site: divebuddy.com/divesite/1216/windy-point-park-austin-tx/

Is it common to have a medical release form filled out by Doctor for taking Peak Performance test ?
Greg - 10/08/2015 7:11 AM
Sure, just depends on your medical history and current condition. Any "Yes" answers to the medical form require a release from a doctor before scuba diving.

Greg,

How do I add my dive center, Scubadelphia, to Scuba Earth?

Thanks,

Dave
Greg - 10/05/2015 11:22 AM
Create a Dive Center profile on DiveBuddy, then add your Map Location under the Edit Profile section.

Hi Greg - thanks for the add. Will be in Denver for the foreseeable future but will let you know when I get a chance to dive. Giddyup!

Greg
I’m trying to post a photo for my profile, but it doesn’t seem to want to show up for me. Tried it several times, any suggestions? By the way, you have a cool site here
Thanks

You most likely only need to refresh your web browser cache. I can see two photos on your profile so far.

Could you add, PADI; Instructor - Emergence First Responder as an option for certificate? Also, PADI; Aquarium Diver (it is a Distinct PADI Specialty).
Greg - 8/17/2015 8:15 AM
For "Instructor - Emergency First Responder"...use "Instructor - CPR/First Aid". For distinctive specialties...use "Other", and try to fit a short description in the Cert Number field.
Korps - 8/17/2015 8:23 AM
Will do for EFR, and that’s what I did for the "Other". Thanks!

How to I put "’buddies" who respond on the I-net into my Buddy List"?Thanks VP
Greg - 8/07/2015 11:36 AM
You can visit a DiveBuddy member’s profile and choose "Add to Buddy List".
tardmaster - 8/07/2015 3:28 PM
If they respond and ACCEPT to your buddy request, they should automatically be on your buddy list.
