The new Nikon D4 has just been announced
Nikon has released another full frame camera, the Nikon D4, which is the successor to the Nikon D3s. It is not often you find a camera that will be more expensive than the underwater housings, but that will probably be the case here. Check out the full article here -> http://www.uwphotographyguide.com/nikon-d4-specs-comparison...

PhotoGraphy - A View
Photography as a usable process goes back to the 1820s with the development of chemical photography. The first permanent photograph was an image produced in 1826 by the French inventor Nicéphore Niépce. However, the picture took eight hours to expose, so he sought to find a new process. Working in conjunction with Louis Daguerre, they experimented with silver compounds based on a Johann Heinrich Schultz discovery in 1724 that a silver and chalk mixture darkens when exposed to light. Niépce died ...

Ocean Dots: Island Imagery
While researching my next trip, I found this web site, http://www.oceandots.com/ "Oceandots.com is an image-based atlas of the world’s islands and reefs as viewed from low earth orbit. Presented in a gazetteer/image gallery format, each entry consists of at least one image and a small amount of background information on the island." The owners of the site don’t identify themselves very well, but the sources include NASA data, so I expect it is a scientific collabor...

Is this real or a photoshop job ?
Excuse the quality, but I couldn’t find a digital copy of this. I scanned this from the PADI’s 2009 "The World’s Best Diving and Resort". This image is on the very first page. I’ve never heard of a jelly this big so I have no idea. I’ve asked about a half-dozen other divers and so far it’s a unanimous fake. What do you think? I’ve got the picture in my profile also. That is a much larger image. Again, sorry for the low quality....

Nominating Frederic Buyle’s photography-magazine c
Every once in a long while comes an underwater image so stunning, so perfect, that you just sit quiet for a minute or two enjoying every single thing about it. This is one of those images. Please vote for this image by clicking this link today. The image is called "Dancing With Tigers". To actually be able to "capture the moment" is every photographers dream.
