[Choose #5] It depends. If their a safe diver I don’t mind having them as a buddy.

[Choose #3] just coz greg can’t #3. But I’ll dive with anybody once. how they act underwater effects my choice if I’ll dive with them again. most of the time I prefer my camera to be my dive buddy.
[Choose #1] I’m fairly new to diving (17 dives) and having a hard time finding buddies, I’ll take anyone!
[Choose #5] I don’t like to dive with someone that is out of shape and looking like they are going to have a heart attack even before they get into the water. Either way don’t depend on a buddy to get you out of trouble. You may be waiting for a long time.
[Choose #5] I agree with most all the ’other’ comments, since I’m fairly new.
[Choose #3] I picked #3 for Greg !!! LOL
[Choose #1] I do watch how they put their gear together. It sometimes gives me a heads up on their experience / confidence.
[Choose #5] i look for non-retards?
[Choose #3] Here is the vote Greg wanted to leave :-)
[Choose #1] as long as they are safe they can dive with me
[Choose #5] prefer one who dosnt mind if it turns into a solo dive
[Choose #5] I’ll dive with anyone once...........we’ll see how it goes from there
[Choose #1] She has her boat ready when I get there, loads my gear and serves breakfast on the way to the 1st site :)

[Choose #5] Greg, you are in trouble because she fits the description for #3 to a T!!! For me, all of the above works.
[Choose #5] I have to trust that they are a safe diver.
[Choose #1] I am up for diving with just about anyone. I know there are personality issues that may make it a one time deal, but experience comes in time and everyone needs to get there.
[Choose #5] After reading the other responses, I had to go with 5 also. For the first dive, I’ll go with anyone, but if they are a danger to themselves and me, I won’t dive with them again.
[Choose #5] Safe safe & safe, knowledgable about the reefs & wrecks, good fun :oD
[Choose #5] Initially I was thinking #1, but that would only be for the first dive. Basically, if I can’t trust my buddy I don’t dive with them again.
[Choose #5] depends on whether or not they are a safe diver and can follow the dive plan. I have had dives with other divers that don’t stay with the planned dive and take off on their own, so needless to say I never dive with them again.
[Choose #5] I will dive with anybody as long as they are dive safe
[Choose #5] I will try #1 first...and then default to #4 if they are a danger to be with.
