I have done most of my dives in Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Caribbean. Some of my favorite dives have been in Mexico and Bali. Eager to keep on discovering new places!

"How is diving in Bali? I would like to dive there when travel is possible again!"

Hi BettyBlue! Diving in Bali was amazing! In terms of the reef and marine life, it’s very nice and colorful. Lot’s of big and small fish both. I love nudibranchs and saw many! I liked diving in Amed that’s great for shore dives but my favorite sites were around Nusa Penida. You can have also day trips from Bali if you don’t want to visit the island itself. Manta Point is worth diving to see the beautiful mantas. The reefs around Nusa Penida are also incredible and full of life. Countless turtles, many napoleons, nudis , triggerfish and even got lucky and saw dolphins! Just be aware the current can be quite strong in many sites around Bali! I did a lot of diving there, but there are still many sites that I did not see. Plus, I missed the mola mola season :( Here is a good site with lots of info, if you are interested: bluewaterdivetravel.com/bali-diving
