Hi all :)...i did over 100 dives, just looking for dive buddies in southern cali to try and dive couple times a month....Also i’m doing a liveaboard on oct 19 for 3 days on truthaquatics or spectre...can’t choose yet, if anybody have been on both and has a feedback that’ll be awesome :)

Hi! The Truth and Spectre are both great boats. I’d take the Truth over the Spectre for mulitday trips. The Spectre is good for single day, quick trips to Anacapa. The Truth is spacious, big, and super clean. They typically hit more advanced spots as well. Captain Davey is great and entertaining! The drive up is a bit further than the Spectre of course. BUT, you should check out the Peace first! The crew is top notch, the food fantastic, and the spots are always stellar! You can’t beat the Peace of any of the Truth Aquatics fleet.

Anything truth aquatics is very nice. Done a few live aboards with them. They have hot showers and nice bunks which is a plus.
