Carla, I dive the springs weekly. From Open Water to full cave. I’ll gladly show you around when you come this way.

Hi, where are the springs?
Bertacchi - 5/29/2015 4:50 PM
I would love to go with you, you have a lot of experience. Where are the springs?
SantaFeSandy - 5/29/2015 5:45 PM
Go to my website to see a zillion photos diving a variety of the springs here in North Central FL. flickr.com/santafesandy/sets/

ok, I will thanks

The springs are like a treasure chest. They await divers to come and penetrate them and see the wealth contained within them.

I have bee to talking to another diver and he wants to go to Paradise next weekend would you like to go? I want to meet as many people as I can who love to dive.
SantaFeSandy - 5/29/2015 7:25 PM
Thx for the invite but I can only dive on Wednesday & Thursday. I work weekends. As for Paradise Springs, if you are a newly certified diver with less than a dozen dives, & no overhead experience, than I would discourage your diving there. View my pictures to learn why. It’s all overhead to 120 ft. You shouldn’t go past 60 ft. It’s pitch black in there and without cavern certification you shouldn’t be carrying a light anyway.

thanks I did not know that, I will take your advise

Carla, I would recommend that your first spring be the KP hole at rainbow River it’s a drift dive and a lot of fun and very pretty maximum depth is 27 foot, they have a cavern zone, but for the rest is direct ascent to the surface

Other good Springs would be Manatee springs in Chiefland, and Troy springs.
