Hi there.
I will be visiting a friend in the Tampa Bay Area in late July and have read about Ginnie Springs Cave diving in National Geographic. From what I hear it is an amazing place to dive and I have had my heart set on doing it since I became SCUBA certified.
The problem is I got my open water certification in March of this year and have not done any other dives since that time. In part because I live in Northern California where dive sites are not as widespread and fascinating as they are in other parts of the World, and in part because I am yet to make any gear investments.
Despite my lack of experience I am comfortable diving and very confident in my ability to successfully explore Ginnie Cavern & "The Ballroom."
I’m looking for a dive buddy, someone with a bit more experience than me, for 1, possibly 2 dives in Ginnie Cavern on July 20th (A Sunday).
I’m not flexible on the date because my main reason for visiting Florida is to see a friend and the 20th is one of the few days he couldn’t get off work while I’m there (he doesn’t SCUBA.)
I’d be happy to pay your admission fee on the day of the dive.
I don’t mind joining up with a group of people who were already planning to dive on that day either.
