Just getting back into diving after a long hiatus. I was certified as a teenager in high school....where the heck did 14 years go? I completed the open water class here in NJ and received my certification on a school trip to Belize. The most beautiful dives. I also went scuba diving in 2004 in Hawaii, but it was a very small dive, nothing too crazy. My parents just bought a vacation home in the keys, and I am looking forward to getting back into diving.

I did it! I took a refresher course last week and completed two dives at Molasses Reef in Key Largo. It was beautiful. I’m so glad I got back into it and I am looking forward to going again on my next trip down!!

Samantha,

Look into Dutch Springs Quarry in Bethlehem, PA. It’s not a bad place to practice diving. Alot of attraactions to dive to including a helicopter that is suspended in the water at approximately 55 feet. The best time of the year to go is May - Sept. I go up ther several times a year including single weekdays and over the weekend at times. If you want to dive up there sometime, let me know, maybe we can meet there. Chris

Samantha, A suggestion investigate into Lakeland Divers, East Hanover, NJ. Because, at times, they have trips to Cayman, Is. , etc. Peter

Thanks Peter. I live near there. My open water classes (pool and instruction) were at Elite before they moved to Rt 10. I have family in the Keys and just scheduled a trip for next week!
