I’ve seen quite a few photos taken at anthonys and it looks nice. Do a search in photo section for "Anthony" or try "akr". Then contact those members for more info. Good luck!

Been there several times. Five star, food excellent, dives easy, boats are great. From time you get off plane til you get acknowledgments on plane, you should want for nothing! Have a monkey-lala after the dive. If you are staying out on the key even better. Tropical winds blow almost all the time. Carry some skin so soft as they do have noseeums that will leave little red marks. Other than that, no issues. Enjoy your trip

I’ve been to Roatan several time. But never stayed in resorts. I usually rent a room in West End and dive with a local shop. Roatan is by far my favorite diving spot. Immediately followed by Cozumel. Regardless of accommodations I guarantee you great diving. Try spooky channel and hole in a wall dive sites. Bear’s den too (although some say it’s overrated)

Bring only American cash.. Preferrably all singles. Coins are no good at the banks. And will not be accepted even for tips.

Tipping at AKR is at the end of your stay. Deposite an envelope for Waiter Staff and one for the Maid.

Dive boat is normal $5. per tank. 2/3 for DM & !/3rd for Capt. So its about $60 for DM and $30 for Capt. Pay each seperately at end of the week.

Use phone at front desk counter. Not the one on the wall. Turm off cell phone and take out sim card

Plan on two days of travel. Don’t miss connection in ATL via Delta. Hyatt Hotel North. Airport shuttle free. $95 nite. Or you’ll get onto Roatan a day later then You want to be.

Carry regs and don’t check in with baggage.

Take 100% Deet for the sands fleas.

Take a full 3mil wetsuit and also a hood. You’ll need it in Dec. Jan. Feb.

Take throw away clothes instead of washing. Rotate 3 swim trunks.

Baggage is free so check in two bags.Your dive gear will weigh more when you return to the airport. Make sure RTB is tagged to your luggage.

Don’t forget the flip flops or sandals.

Its a great place ! You’ll have a lot of fun. Starting to plan my 3rd trip there.

I stayed at Anthony’s Key for the first time this year. I have been to Roatan 3 times before. The resort it great. Food is very good, dive boats are new pro-dive 42’s If you go after March be sure to get an air-condtioned room . I’ll definitely stay there again.

We just got home from a 2 week stay . I truely cant say enough good things about this place. The diving was first class. The food was top notch and the people were great. Even when not diving it is a beautiful relaxing place to just kick back. I was told they have done alot of upgrades and still more in the works. I would go back in a heart beat and would recommend the place for sure. To me it is a divers heaven ..

I was there in April for the first time. Great place to stay, food was good and all the boats are new Pro 40. If you go after March, be sure to get an air-conditioned room. I stayed on the hillside to avoid having to wait on the boat to go to and from the island cabins.
