To all the DiveBuddy members that are on Facebook. ...With a lot of divers getting close to warm water season and the addition of plenty of boat traffic, I urge everyone to check this site out on Facebook ... As divers most of us have had close calls or know someone that has had a close call or even an accident. I looked threw this site and was very impressed with the info and had to pass it on to others... I must caution you.. some very graphic pics... Dive Flag Awareness

Ya, in California... there’s appears to be no requirement to display a flag AND no laws that control the boats (other than they have a 5 mph speed limit within 100 feet of a diver). Are Ab divers and PADI instructors the only one’s to have floats?

My read is a flag is more dangerous than not having one (due to drawing in curious boaters).
