I was in the Marines, but didn`t learn to dive there.

Cert`d while on an "excursion" to Cuba. Loved the water there!

I`m also in the Guard serving a tour in Iraq. My time is coming to an end and I can`t wait to get back in the water :)

I learned to dive when I was 14 but I did some other certs while I was in the Navy for 8 years in San Diego. I am currently in the Michigan Army National Guard, and I have been stationed in Cuba. I did a lot of diving down there as well as other places in the world. All thanks to the big Green Machine!

I spent over 30 years in the Army, but did not learn to dive until 96. After I retired I now spend as much time underwater as possible. I wish I would have taken it up while I was active.

I am currently in the Army and stuck in Arizona. I have done most of my dive training in Fort Lewis, WA. They have a 5star PADI shop on post. I did my first few dives in Panama before they closed the bases down there.

Air Force here. But, like a lot of the others, I didn’t start diving until after I came back to the States.

I served in the US Army, I bought dive gear at the PX in Panama before the base there closed. I bought a complete dive gear less the tank and weights. Didnt even know what I was buying, I was gonna get certified but when I returned in the states I ended up selling all the stuff I bought in Panama and never got certified. But now I finally achieved my dream of becoming a diver. Im now a PADI Divemaster.

us coast guard here spent lots of time in the water and makeing weapons go boom ! but no scuba until 20 years later wish i would of been a commerical diver in 1990!
