I was only there for a short time yesterday for one dive, but I had an asbolute blast. Lets do it again. Somewhere soon. I met some great folks from around here. Spread the word about Divebuddy.com. Also, I will be putting out the word on my facebook. I trade at CrazyScuba.com and Scubatoys.com that are great shops. Greg thanks for leading my dive. Gets a little cold at 30 ft.
Greg - 7/21/2013 3:32 PM
It was my pleasure, my son and I had a great dive with you and Shannon. That plane was cool. It did get chilly at 30’!
aggiediver69 - 7/20/2013 3:58 PM
Thanks so much for a great time today diving with Divebuddy groups!!! Awesome family fun making memories!!!! Thanks everyone!!!!
badintexas - 7/20/2013 7:36 AM
We left home and just realized that we forgot our grill. Does anyone that is there or that will be heading there have one for all of us to use?
aggiediver69 - 7/20/2013 7:46 AM
Sorry we are about an hour from the ranch about to hit 45 at above Madisonville!!!
tkcj - 7/19/2013 10:05 AM
We’re here. Last two pavillions on the left (South side of the park). See ya’ when ya get here.
aggiediver69 - 7/19/2013 10:13 AM
lucky guy!!
Greg - 7/19/2013 11:23 AM
Do the pavilions have picnic tables? If so, how many tables do you have reserved for us? Can you make sure the viz is at least 20’ when I get there tomorrow :)
havoc - 7/19/2013 1:11 PM
Greg, Those pavilions have 2 tables each. People don’t camp at that site often so we should be able to call dibs without issues. That area is right next to the airplane and lots of fish. It’s my preferred spot. :)
Wadcock77 - 7/18/2013 5:39 AM
One more thing. I don’t think this was mentioned, make sure you bring Cash. They don’t take cards or checks. I would also probably get aired up for the first dive before you get there. I was delayed my last dive waiting for a class to get the tanks filled.
havoc - 7/17/2013 9:09 PM
Greg,
Just wanted to let you know I got the banner and will put it up the moment I have us a spot.
aggiediver69 - 7/17/2013 10:52 AM
Thx Greg!!! Me and my twins will see y’all there!!!
aggiediver69 - 7/17/2013 10:51 AM
We need a burger flipper!!! Not much back needed lol!!!
mcrognale - 7/17/2013 8:49 AM
Unfortunately I will not be able to make this one. I am bummed but my back is out of commission. Tough to move. Ya’ll have fun and maybe next time. God bless.
Greg - 7/17/2013 10:35 AM
Please update your RSVP. We’ll see you next time. Get better soon!
aggiediver69 - 7/17/2013 5:16 AM
Is anyone leaving Saturday morning from College Station area???
Greg - 7/17/2013 10:40 AM
Check out the Event Map at the bottom of the event page, if you zoom out some, it will show you the location of everyone that RSVP’d. Looks like you’re the only one coming from College Station.
lkjohnson - 7/14/2013 4:36 PM
I had. LASIK last November I was diving 6 weeks later in Cozumel. You have to wait at least 6 weeks after LASIK to dive.
Raider - 7/14/2013 4:05 PM
Where will everyone be at the park?
havoc - 7/14/2013 6:16 PM
We aren’t sure yet. Whomever gets there early enough and posts the location first. I will be there by the time the park opens and look for a spot.
Greg - 7/15/2013 7:07 AM
Also, you can ask the front office when you check in where the divebuddy group is.
Raider - 7/15/2013 11:27 AM
Thanks, I will do that.
badintexas - 7/17/2013 8:17 AM
I’m not sure but I ’feel’ that we will be the loudest bunch that you may want to walk right past.. J/K
DorywLionfish - 7/11/2013 8:23 AM
Thank you. I have received the ok to dive, I just wanted to hear from someone who has actually dove that deep who has had the surgery. Thanks for the web site.
Greg - 7/11/2013 10:01 AM
I had Lasik many years ago (a couple years before I was ceritified)...and I have dove deep since then without any problem. I agree with BillParker, it’s up to you and your doctor.
DorywLionfish - 7/11/2013 8:08 AM
Hi, Has anyone dove after having LASIK eye surgery? I had it 9 months ago. I am concerned about the deep dives 80-90 feet? Thanks
BillParker - 7/11/2013 8:12 AM
Forget diving Internet discussion boards. Definietly ask your doctor if you are concerned.
Wadcock77 - 7/10/2013 11:17 AM
The one thing they do watch is the 10 MPH speed limit. I almost got asked to leave the first time I visited.
Greg - 7/10/2013 10:13 AM
Does CSSP allow adult beverages? If so, cans only?
havoc - 7/10/2013 10:14 AM
...just bring a cozy. :)
BillParker - 7/10/2013 10:39 AM
No. But they don’t run around all the time checking. Just be discrete and don’t get drunk and noisy and you can have a few drinks.
Greg - 7/11/2013 5:11 AM
I just saw their rules...no alcoholic beverages. Also..they only accept cash.
havoc - 7/10/2013 10:10 AM
Looks like it’s going to be a great turnout. Who’s got the grill?
Greg - 7/10/2013 10:15 AM
I will bring some charcoal and a grill top that we can place on some rocks if there isn’t a proper grill.
