DiverDutch - 6/14/2012 1:11 PM Just finished two weekends at the BL. Vis was ok, but the water was phenomenal!!! Even my 3 mm shorty was warm after 6 hours in the water. The last day was shorts and rashie. Can’t make it this weekend, but please keep me up to date on future trips. Love to meet up with new buddies!! You guys have fun! Dutch

navy_mo - 6/13/2012 12:39 PM I called Blue Lagoon back and they changed us to shelter #6 for the entire weekend, as it has more parking space for us.

navy_mo - 6/13/2012 8:38 AM We have reserved spots for this Friday-Sunday under the name “DiveBuddy”. We have reserved site “Nude Beach” on Friday & Saturday, and shelter #6 for Sunday. These are both on Lagoon #1. If you need any rental gear, they recommend reserving it ahead of time in case they run out. If you want to camp, you can contact Blue Lagoon. The cost of camping is included in your daily admission. Greg - 6/13/2012 8:46 AM Nude Beach is pretty hard to drive in and out of. The road is pretty steep and will be tough for cars. Jen_Jen - 6/11/2012 7:39 AM After almost 20 years of diving, I’m finally getting my Advanced Open Water. LOL! Went out to Blue Lagoon yesterday to start that. It was nice. Of course, visibility was not great by the afternoon, but the water felt great! My thoughts are - when the vis is bad, it’s time to play underwater navigation games!! :-P I’ll be there on Saturday morning (not camping). fasttalker31 - 6/11/2012 8:01 AM Congrats!! Greg - 6/11/2012 7:24 AM Make sure to let us know when you make a reservation. If you reserve one spot, we can all crowd around it. I think Lagoon 2 is nicer for hanging out, but Lagoon 1 is a bit bigger and deeper and has more stuff to see underwater. It’s your call.
