I do most of my diving on Magnetic Island where it is easy logistically and cheap. I have a 4.1 boat that can me out to the islands. One of the regular charter boats (day trips or live aboard) are required to get to the Great Barrier Reef or the SS Yongala wreck. There is plenty of good diving to be explored on my front door.
