I’ve only been diving for the a little over I year but I’m hooked. Have 45 dives mostly in Monterey Bay. I suspect many of the divers on this site are very experienced seasoned divers so “proficient” in my profile experience might be a slight exaggeration. I have a regular dive buddy from work but he’s potentially moving to Australia which will be great for me to visit (and dive) but I’m bummed out at the same time. Anyways, joined this site to find others looking for buddies around Monterey.

Standard_Error - 1/21/2018 9:38 AM Was all ready to head out for a dive this morning in Monterey Bay until I read 5 million gallons of sewage was spilled and all the beaches are closed. Came from an equipment failure at the treatment plant in Marina. You’d think they’d have really tight control of waste water next to a marine sanctuary.
