My wife, Cathy and I like diving mainly warm water, but I am always interested in diving California, especially Southern California and Tahoe. Cathy is Master SCUBA certified and I am Tech 40/Solo certified. I am an x-professional mariner.

Cathy and I both love the oceans. We will travel anywhere as long as we have something interesting to do once we get there.

That’s a good question! I normally take American Air pretty much all the time when going diving.

I guess it’s the price I pay for the miles. The trip itself wasn’t so bad just the waiting time between flights. (five hours here and six hours there, that was the bummer)

I’ll look into alternatives next time.

Comal River is 2.5 miles long it is the shortest river in the world. The river starts and ends in New Braunfels. Thats great. I have no outer membrane in my right ear so I get infections constantly and so far the era plugs have prevented that. Good Luck Safe divind Judy

My Point "exactly". Most people don’t realize just how much we really "don’t know". I figure that this is because most people don’t ask...!

The depth and bredth of one’s own knowledge is usually measured in terms of how much we know when compaired to the whole scope of human knowledge and understanding (which is limited) when compaired to all that there is to know (universally).

It’s not until we begin to seek knowledge, that we can make any kind of comparison. And when we do this, we come to realize just how "little" we do know and understand when compared to the "big picture". Still, we seek to learn more.

And still I find that most people don’t want to know. They are comfortable "knowing what they know, and believing that what they know is all there is to know". This eliminates questions, uncertainty and gray areas in thought.

Let me know how you Tahoe dive did. I have done Tahoe about 12 times now, and it is alway great. I dive alot of the lakes around the sacramento area, so if you would like to get a dive together, Let’s post it up and see who we can get there.

Good question. Urchins can change to either sex as needed. Very flexible.

We drop them in 200 foot + water, and they most likely get eaten because on sand they are easily overturned. During the harvesting process we do damage a few at the pleasure of the local fish population.
