Its a cool dive. The whole tour lasts about 3 hours....the dive was 40 minutes. You have to use Disney equipment, the only thing you can bring of your own is a wrist dive computer and a mask. Through Disney the dive costs $175, but some dive clubs do it for less. I paid $120 through Seven Fathoms dive club.

We need to go and do some open wter diving soon. I will let you know whn the next Barnacle Buster meeting is. They take off in the summer but I am always planning a dive trip.
Have you been diving lately?
Mason32054 - 6/13/2014 11:37 AM
Yeah definetly let me know. It’s been about a month, going to dive quest Saturday..

Where is Quest? Is that fresh or salt water? I dove Orange Grove Saturday and it was a very tough cave dive. Very silty and the ceiling was very low due to the high buildup of silt.

It’s a dive in the aquarium at Epcot Center.

How was it? Waht was the price and how long was the dive? Did you dive your own equipment?
shellmoundal - 4/10/2014 6:30 AM
What certification are you?
Mason32054 - 4/12/2014 5:13 PM
Open water

I suggest you get in touch with Santa FE Sandy. She dives Blue Gratto and Devil’s Den quite often Both of those are open water. I dive Cave unless I am at the ocean and that is not too often.

I went last weekend......but I’m up for anytime. Several of them are closed right now because of the water levels in the river, but Manatee is open. Let me know if you wanna go.

I actually got a dive planned with a group located out of st Augustine, called Idive on the 28th of this month at ginnie springs if your interested.
Mason32054 - 9/14/2013 10:11 AM
Sounds good.....do you have the details?
SamuelD - 9/14/2013 2:13 PM
Yes, it’s called the galaxy dive, it’s a two tank dive. They require all divers to book in advance to reserve their spot. Www.idiveflorida.org or if I was you I would just call the shop and speak to someone personally. 904/460-6096 ask for ken
