Hi! Thanks for stopping to check out my profile.
Basic Scuba Info: PADI OW certified (#12100L2644) and working towards my AOWD cert. Nitrox/EAN certified. Always interested in increasing my knowledge. Will probably work up to Rescue Diver.
Scuba Interests: Getting wet! LOL. Seriously though, UW photography, marine conservation, marine life identification, spearfishing (especially lion fish), salt & freshwater, altitude diving, cavern (but not cave) & meeting new people.
Limitations: Slow ears. I’m still learning little tricks to make them cooperate with me. I WILL abort a dive if I can’t get them equalized. 98% of the time, I can.
Buddy Preferences: I enjoy taking my time UW and checking out the sights. I’m not into seeing how many dives I can log in a single day or shooting down to 100+ ft just for the fun of being that deep. I prefer low stress diving and depth is not important.
I realize that for the most part, I am responsible for myself UW. I DO expect my buddy to communicate with me and check in with me during the dive. I don’t expect my buddy to be glued to my side, but please keep me in sight. I will do the same for you. I take my responsibility as your buddy seriously.
I’d prefer to get to know my potential dive buddy before a scheduled dive. Phone conversations, text, or email are all acceptable. You’re putting your life in my hands and I in yours, shouldn’t we at least know a little about each other beforehand? I don’t need a life story...just friendly conversation. A little background info. Where are you from? How long have you been diving? Where have you dove before? What are you good at UW and what are you still working on improving. What are you expecting from the dive, etc. You get the picture...
Other Interests: Camping, Hiking, Kayaking, Cooking, and you get a special bonus if you are MINI motoring. :-)
