Southern California Divebuddies Represent!!!!


Dive events like we had yesterday (March 1st) could only be possible due to Greg and this wonderful website. Through Divebuddy.com I’ve met so many local buddies that I will never have a problem finding a buddy any day of the year. And I’m making some amazing friends along the way :-) Of course we are fortunate to have so many divers here in Southern California, with so many divable days throughout all four seasons. We’re lucky. And even luckier to have access to such a powerful tool. Greg...keep up the great job...we love your site!!!


Yesterday was one of our bigger events. We had 22 divers come out to send off our valued friend and divebuddy, Bob (screen name "Bobo"), who is leaving town for 10 months. It didin’t hurt that the skies were clear, the temp. was in the mid 70’s and the surf and swell were light. Of the 22 divers who showed up, I know 11 are members of this site, with many more vowing to sign up soon. And this is only half of our normal "regulars" who dive together. With such a big turnout I decided to print a Divebuddy.com banner at my work. We’ll bring the banner again for future events. We even decided to attempt a group shot with the banner underwater, but the viz dropped quickly with so many divers in the same small space, and it turned out pretty bad. But it was fun in the attempt :-) The wagon train of 20+ divers going through the arch at Shaws Cove was a sight to behold. A great time was had by all. After a couple dives the majority met up at a local eatery for some pizza, beer and to plan our next event(s). 


Our group consists of divers of all abilities and experience. Everyone with a good attitude and the desire to have fun are welcome to join us. Stay wet!

Thanks Greg and to your site. thanks to dhung99_2000 for getting us all together starting August 08. Since that time I have dove over 75 dives in the Laguna area and have made some great freinds!


Rich excellent job in getting the dive together and the banner!!


We have a strong group in the Laguna Beach area thanks rto this site, hope that if you come to the Dive Show this year you could set a dive with this group of outstanding divers, you wont be disappointed Greg.


Thanks BOBO cant wait to get back to San Diego and dive up in Orange County, will p be posting my Gulf Coast outings here.

Special thanks to Greg for putting up this site. Otherwise I wouldn’t have meet all my buddies through here. Now that I have my regular buddies whom ever is open for a dive. Like I tell the rest. I am loving this site. Keep up the good work. P.S. Bob, I am going to miss you with all the dives. Can’t wait til you come back. Cheers!!! And thumbs up for Rich. He did an awesome job by getting his group and my group together plus the banner. He is a good planner for the event!
