The exploration of space and the depths of the ocean have many similarities and while it’s highly unlikely that most of us will ever get out into space, we can all visit the strange new worlds under the sea.

If that sounds kind of like the TV show Star Trek, you are absolutely correct! Eugene Roddenberry Jr., the only son of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry, and myself are just about to debut the all new Roddenberry Dive Team.

The Dive Team is about exploration, education and preservation. Everyone is welcome to join even if you aren’t a certified diver and we will have some extra special events and classes you can all participate in.

This is so cool.


He is also affiliated with an organization that I currently support. "League of New Worlds" Atlantica Expeditions, headed by Dennis Chamberlan. He has a really good bio posted on their site.


Eugene Roddenberry is an excellent aquanaut and explorer. And he is passionate about what he is doing. He is skilled and experienced and has a wonderful vision for the future.


I wish Eugene and the Dive Team all success in their mission.
