I’m truley interested in hearing about some of unique and interesting things people have found while diving. I’m willing to bet there has been a great many things. Most all divers secretly hope to find a stash of gold coins and such, and if you have infact found some, tell us about it. But what I’m really interested in hearing about is some of the more unique and wierd things found, that you probobly wouldn’t have expected. Personally, the wierdest thing I have found was a bowling ball. So lets hear it, what have you found?

In one of the rooms midship on the Spiegel Grove in Key Largo someone placed a concrete bear. Those of us that know where it is move it to a different room whenever we dive.

I don’t know if you would categorize these as oober weird; however, in addition to the "placed items" in several dive sites, I have found a fire extinguisher, a plastic easter egg, a 14k gold earring, a man’s wedding band, a penny, a set of Foster Grant Sunglasses (I wear them on shore now), aviator style sunglasses (I placed them on a picnic bench for someone else to have), a 2lb solid lead weight, a dive light (covered in silt), a set of brass knuckles, an umbrella, and several fishing lures.

I don’t know that it qualifies as a "find" but in the Red Sea, off of Sharm el Sheik, there is a "field of toilets" that fell off a cargo ship. It makes for interesting photo opps.
