The air in the cylinders are dry for a reason- to prevent corrosion of the cylinder. I would go with making sure you are properly hydrated. There are regs that have "fins" inside to capture moisture & return it on the inhale (Sherwood Oasis),... but not IMO the best breathing reg on the market. If the dryness gets to be too much for me, I start gagging, I will just remove the reg,... take in a little water, swish it around & spit it back out.
