Warm water, cold airNothing worse than diving in warm water and then getting out into the cold air after the dive.

I did a 90-minute night dive last week in 85-degree water and when I surfaced, I had to suffer in the 77-degree air. Can you feel my pain?

I went SCUBA diving on Christmas Day in 1999, and the air temp here in the Fort Lauderdale area (with wind chill factored in) was about 45, whilst the water temp was a mere 80 degrees. Needless to say, getting out of the water was not my idea of fun!
