From DiveBuddyChgo: A full time dive professional at $35hr./ benefits but will always pay for thier shop uniform. Maybe as a repair tech you can get $35 an hour + benefits, but as an instructor, you get paid by the courses you teach and certifications you complete. At least that’s the way the shops operate where I have worked.
$35 an hour would be awsesome! For an open water course, classroom & pool time would work out to be about $1,000.00 per class! Where do I sign up for that, I was only making about 1/4 of that for each class!
