It’s been some years since I dove out of OC, MD, but when I did there was only one game in town. This is probably the same one you refer to here. I also discovered there was no boat out of anywhere in Delaware at the time, so I had to come down to OC from Rehoboth Beach to get on a (the) dive boat.
In the limited research I’ve done recently, it seems to me that working down the East coast there are large gaps in dive boat coverage. There are a number in Long Island, quite a few in NJ, none in DE, this one in MD, none in VA, several in NC, none in SC or GA, and then a lot down the East coast of FL.

At this point all I’m looking for is someplace to refill my tanks when I get back Saturday for the Sunday dive. The dive is scheduled through SMD.

There are a few boats in VA, Virginia Beach area. I did a dive with Lynnhaven, that’s a good shop and they have their own boat. I plan on diving off Morehead City this year, several boats and shops there.

It seems like the closest verifiable dive shop with a compressor is "Discover Diving" in Salisbury, MD, about 40 minutes drive inland from OC. There is another place in Berlin that YP shows as a supplier of dive equipment, but they don’t seem to have a website and the name does not exude the essence of dive shop, "Tailgun Industries"
I recommend just bringing more tanks; enough for both days’ dives. It should not cost much more to rent a couple extra tanks from your LDS than it would to drive an hour and a half round trip and get yours refilled. I.e. the gas to get to and from that shop will probably cost about $10, and you’ll spend your whole evening getting it done.

I found the same thing. Looks like I’ll be renting four more to cover the weekend.
