Has anyone taken the PADI Zombie Apocalypse Diver Course? If so, was it worth it.

Looks like it’s really geared towards kids to help them hone their basic skills.

I wouldn’t say it’s geared only towards kids. We were all adults and experienced divers when I did it. You can learn basic search and recovery and rescue skills as you complete "missions." In one, you have to surface an unresponsive "doctor," and in the other, you have to find a box with the "cure." It’s a little like underwater flag football because the "zombies" try to grab streamers from your tank to record "bites." Somebody also gets to use one of those bubble ring shooters. Sure, it’s a bit gimmicky, but I thought it was a lot of fun for $40. Plus, you get a certification that counts toward the Master Scuba Diver rating. And I’m not really into the whole zombie apocalypse trend.
