[Choose #2] If you factor in the instructor’s time and expenses they really aren’t being compensated very much for the service given. I believe anything under $450 is devaluing the service and most likely the student will get less than they deserve.

[Choose #4] Depends on the instructor. I’ve seen some newly minted divers who really should get their money back.

[Choose #3] $400 seems pretty universal. I have seen cheaper, but this is a service, an educational service, if you want cheaper, that is exactly what you will get.

[Choose #4] Paid $30 in 1970 and that included a check out boat dive to Catalina, today I would expect to pay around $350

[Choose #4] I paid $99 for my class, made my own Logbooks, and this included rental gear. Did have to pay for the dive locations to do the dives and pool.

[Choose #3] $350 to 450 if Shore. I would consider a little more if the check outs were on two boat trips....depending on where they are held.
