I want to visit some places that I could consider a great retirement destination. Please advise what you think would be good. I want a nice calm life, diving, and just enjoying life.

Can’t really compare with Latitude, but Panama City is pretty good. Lots of artificial reefs and some great hard bottom off the coast and Vortex and Morrison springs within an hour and a half drive.

Try mayonviewresort.com my retirement home in Philippines. Snorkeling right in front of the house last week I witnessed a pair of peacock mantis shrimp mating (didn’t have camera with me). Laid back life style fresh fruit and veggies every day, fresh air and no noise pollution. I just don’t get to spend enough time their.

Low taxes and low property taxes have to be considered. To save money for more travel to other dive destinations!

I love all the suggestions. Want to sit on the beach. Jump in the ocean when I want and watch the sun set.
