 Looking into an Oceanic Atom 3.1

I like the idea of being able to hook a transmitter up to my daughters reg, since she is my most frequent buddy, I am wondering if anyone here has any thoughts or opinions about this PDC? Or have any suggestions about an alternative with similar features your input would be appreciated

I have been using a VT3 on my wifes equipment for about two years. To be really truthful the distance that the transmitter works is a bit limited and it will frequently lose signal. I usually find it easier to just ask her for her reading. Hopefully, Oceanic has improved on the signal stregnth. The transmitters used to be about $400.00 - which is a little expensive for the amount of convenience that they offer.
