"Dive Buddy" is now a registered service mark.As of January 20th, 2009, the term "dive buddy" was registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) as an official service mark used by DiveBuddy.com (which is owned by Davis Companies, Inc.). The registration number is: 3,566,208. The serial number is 77-522,057.
