My wet suit has a small hole in the arm pit, a seam came apart. does anyone know of a person or place that can fix this?

wet suit is fixed now, thanks to a friend that sewed it and brought me some aquaseal. A word of advice. use the aquaseal lightly, it formed a stiff seam in my armpit, hurts when worn for a long time. but the hole is fixed. I shopping for a new one any way, some thing thicker, for when it is cold. suit that was fixed is a 2mil.

Aqua Tech will work fine. Gently pull the tear so you can coat the edges of the tear. Then push the material back together, hold it for a few seconds and your set. You can put a small amount over the repair to coat it, but it really isn’t needed.

My wife repaired a small whole in a wetsuit with strong black thread. Just make sure to go away from the tear a little over 1/8 of an inch so the stich job isn’t too weak. Maybe a combo of the AquaSeal and stiching will work. OR tear off a piece of old wetsuit to use as a patch and use the aqua seal and stiching to put it on the inside of the wesuit. I’m not an expert though so anything you do is an experiment.
