I dove several cenotes in that area last year and had an excellent time. No waves and no diesel fumes! The names I recall were Chak Mal and Car Wash but there are 7 or 8 nice big ones in the vicinity. I dove with the shop based out of the Mayan Resorts hotel between Playa del Carmen and Cancun, but also met up with folks from several PdC dive shops & everyone seemed pleased. If you follow the link on my DiveBuddy profile back to my MySpace page, there are several cenote pix.

I have dived Dos Ojos and Bat Cave with Hidden Worlds. The dive guide was very experienced and skilled, went over safety procedures with us very carefully, and led on us a couple of fantastic dives. The water is cool and refreshing after the 90 degree surface heat, and viz is a pristine 200 feet. Do the cenotes at the end of your trip to wash off all the gear.
