I only have 3 certs: open water, advanced and deep. Started diving in 2000 but have been off and on until the last 2 years as a volunteer diver for the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. Mostly dives overseas...Cozumel, Great Barrier Reef, South China Sea, and next month Costa Rica.

Looking for friends who can travel (money and flexible time), even if it is only Florida. I’m not keen on NC waters. I prefer corals and a variety of sea life to wrecks.

NEWBERN - 11/11/2013 7:42 PM ah, that was at the aquarium in Monterrey last summer. But yes, New Bern is fantastic. People don’t realize the Neuse River is wider than the Mississippi. The town is starting to get some style. Local arts, jazz, acoustic music, theater. Whereabouts your in laws live?
