My name is Peter Peart. I live and work in Washington D.C. Diving has become my passion since being certified in 2001. In the past 4 or 5 years, I have taken 2 dive trips a year to the Caribbean, mostly Bonaire. But I have had wonderful dive trips to Dominica, Little Cayman, and Jamaica. I am an advanced open water diver and consider myself a budding underwater photograher. My philosophy of diving is safety first and look out for your buddy as your buddy would look out for you. With diving, more so than many things, the trust factor and dependence on a buddy is truly significant. So in seeking a buddy, we first must establish trust. I am as easy going in the water as I am on land. And even though I often travel alone, I have been fortunate to meet great fellow divers along the way. In joining this group, from time to time, I hope to meet fellow divers who share similar interests and who need a buddy for some of these dive ventures. Although boat diving is wonderful, I find shore diving offers more adventure and variety. This is why I have gone to Bonaire so many times. Besides the ease and economy, there are some great dives and a great variety of sites to choose from. So many dive sites on the planet so lets get wet as often as we can!
