I am a PADI assistant instructor and EFR instructor. I am especially into underwater photography and also love to hunt (spearfish/lobster/abelone). I dive mostly in Monterey Bay, but also dive southern California, the California north coast, Washington Puget sound, and warm water destinations around the world. Some of my favorite diving is the Southern California Channel Islands-especially San Clemente Island for photography and diving Cortes bank for lobster. Update: I just moved to the Portland Oregon area. I need to figure out some good places to dive here. :)

scubagurl - 2/09/2012 10:57 PM Want to dive the California Channel Islands? There are a few more spots left on an upcoming trip in March. Lobster season closer trip 3 days and 3 nights aboard the Horizon Charter out of San Diego. We board on Thurs. March 15th at 7:00pm. Return on Sunday March 18th around 7:00. Although there are plenty of hunters on board, anyone is welcome. In the past we have had divers just there to dive and photographers as well. Planned itinerary:Day 1- Cortes Bank (weather permitting) Day 2- Santa Barbara Island Day 3-Catalina or Clemente Island If conditions hold out at Cortes and Santa Barbara we will stay there as long as we can. COST: Bunk = $599; Cabin = $644. I have been going on this trip for several years and it is always alot of fun. I would love to meet more dive buddies on the trip. If interested, please contact me and I can fill you in on further details. :)

divershaun - 10/18/2007 10:35 PM haha ya thats kinda what happened to me, but instead of prying i punched. i dunno it was just instinct haha, the crab let go and my buddy was laughing soo hard he lost his regulator. we got to the surface and he was like "...did you seriously just punch that crab??" hahah
