I was certified in early 2009 while living in michigan at North Higgins Lake. That has to be the highlight so far of my diving experience. "Why", because the ice had just melted off the lakes. I have since moved back to Florida, with my family, and am now exploring new dive site possibilites. So far, I have dove at Ft. Pickens and Navarre Beach. It’s really hard to find people who are as enthusiastic about diving as I am, so most of the time I dive solo. My wife is gradually getting used to the underwater experience, and when I feel she is comfortable enough we will have a chance to experience the dive sites together. I have taken her down to a max of no more than 25ft, and she is doing exceptionally well, so we move on. She worries alot because I have no fear. I tell her that I am not going to let fear keep me from living, but I am not going to do anything that will put me or anyone else in harms way.
