Married to a Scuba diving instructor has a lot of perks. Not only do I get to be trained for a nominal fee, BUT I get to dive a lot of places, network with a lot of divers, and get a lot of experience diving with a lot of different people and a lot of differnt dive sites. I’ve been working with my husband for about a year now, but I offically became I divemaster in March of 2009.



On the weekends, if I`m not diving or remodeling, you`ll usually find me cutting loose with some karaoke!!

Mcgyver4739 - 5/19/2008 9:33 PM Hey Mary, I have a SeaLife DC 600 Elite set up. It the first and only underwater camera I have used. Its really simple and has a lot of features. I did however take PADI’s photo class. Helped a bit, but did it on the second last day of out trip. The only thing I really notice unless your shallow (30’ or less) the strobe is what makes the shot. You can have the best camera in the world but without light it shoots like all the rest. And the same goes for a less expensive camera, with a flash it will take great shots. Anything else ask away!! :) Tony

Nigel - 1/11/2008 7:50 PM Thanks SSW This was taken on the MV Semple which lies just off Port Villa in Vanuatu. The prop is 37.1m but the bow is at 50.6m as I found out when I explored the hold! Its strange but you don`t get the impression that the ship is lying nose down on the bottom and it was quite a shock when I looked at my guage! Still I was able to make my way back without violating or going into deco (Only just by about 30 seconds I reckon!) I don`t think I`ll be going deeper!!
