Latest News I just got my Divemaster certification! Yahoo!

OK I`ve changed my profile picture! Rather than the hapless bluefin Tuna which was nibbled by a rather large Bronze Whaler, I have decided to put up one of me diving in Vanuatu on the 4th Jan 2008. Here I am at the prop of the MV Semple an island trader sank in 1986. It lies at 37-50m nose down off Port Villa on Efate. It is my deepest dive to date (50.6m) - I don`t think I`ll need to go deeper for quite a while! I love to dive and sometimes hunt Crays with my son Jack (Jackerz on Divebuddy) but he`s not always available, especially as he has run away to sea and joined the Navy! So Nick and I are always looking for new friends, especially people visiting from Overseas. Age and gender not important but a positive safe outlook and passion for diving a must. If you are a couple or single visitng from overseas and want to dive with a local. I have Dive Master certification but no longer work in the industry preferring instead to dive for pleasure. Nigel, I got a new job! I will be working with salt water fishes, corals and aquariums in a store! I will be taking care of newly arrived fishes, sending them to other countries, take care of the sick ones and clean aquariums.

I am really happy with it, I will have a opportunity to become an expert, and I guess it will make my diving much more exiting now when I will know so much about the fishes and corals.

I start on Tuesday!

Hi Nigel! I hope you are fine, were missing you this Thursday. Spoke to my partner about you, and when he understood that your not just a scuba diver, but also a fisker he was happy. We would love to go out for some fishing some time also, except from diving. QWe have never been fishing in Aussie, so we might need some help with the right eauipmnt there.... Hope to see you soon. I am working heaps at my book now, it seems to be needed. The prolouge is at 200 pages something.. hahaha.

The only reason these sting rays were so friendly is simply because of where I was diving. Tourist companies and dive businesses make a fortune in Grand Cayman bringing people to "Sting Ray City". I was definitely weary at first, but you slowly get use to them.

Glad you have a sense of humor about the photo comment. It`s Sunday evening here in Western USA. I`m lucky enough to work Monday thru Friday. Except when I have Dive Classes, like the past 2 days.
