I love to dive the tropics, Cold water and low visability, well, leaves me cold. I prefer the big island of Hawaii, and Maui. I have good mammal karma. I have had several chance encounters with humpbacks and lots of interaction with dolphins, spinners, spotted and bottlenose. I am looking for a dive buddy that enjoyes travel to tropical places. Spots I have dove are Barbados, St. Martin, Key Largo, Mayan Riviera, Puget Sound (just two dives) and did I mention Hawaii?

Hey thanks for the shout. I would say the best dive site in the area is swinging bridge on the Illinois R., If you are up for it it is a great place to explore. Should be getting better as the levels drop. if you want you can call at 541-646-0806 or get back to me here.

My name is Jon, my phone number is 541-535-8929. I have always wanted to dive there. Will my two piece 3mm suit be warm enough? I would like to do some local diving if I can. I have been diving for 12 years and have never had a local dive buddy. I just got back from 11 days in Belize. My second trip there. Dove the Blue hole twice. Off to the big island in September. So almost all my diving has been warm water. I dont know if I mentioned earlier, I dove Crater Lake (85 feet) two summer ago for work. Cooold, but clear, no wildlife, just bragging rights. We recovered some scientific equipment that was damaged over the winter.. I have pics. And some great shark video in the Blue Hole. We’ll talk soon I hope, and set up a dive this summer, OK?
