I am a new diver-now I wonder why I never did this before, all I think about is diving now. My partner and I decided to get certified when we booked a trip to Grand Caymans last year, a group trip sponsored by Carquest Auto Parts. We were certified at Dutch Springs, PA in September.

I grew up watching Jacques Cousteau and was facinated back then. I have an older brother who was diving in the 70’s but I never had the opportunity to go with him. I’ve always loved the water and marine life. I have 4 children and my daughter, who is my youngest at 13, has an interest in diving. I have returened to school for a career change and have chosen to be a respiratory therapist which fits right in with the diving.
