Squalus Marine Divers was launched in May 2012, as a recurring, online video program, broadcasting internationally, via our YouTube channel. Our objective was initially to promote scuba diving in The Long Island Sound, while seamlessly integrating a message of conservation, education and stewardship of the sea. Due to increasing interest, we have decided to branch out to other regions of the US.

I appreciate what you all are doing for the scuba community. Making those videos available for other divers is awesome! Be sure to add links to your videos to the dive site listings on DiveBuddy so you get more viewers and so our divers have a lot more information about the wrecks.

I just sent you a buddy request. My name is Andrew, and I live in Torrington, CT. I have been diving a little over a year and am lookig for locals to dive with. I done mostly shore dives off of Stonington, CT and quite a few up north in New Brunswick, Canada. I have my open water cert, and plan on taking a few more certifications come warmer weather. How deep are the wrecks you dive? I’m local and would love to join you some time. The deepest I have been is 75-85’ but most of my dives have been in the 25-40’ range, so I’m not too experienced with deep diving, but would love to try a wreck sometime. The only wrecks I’ve seen were at dutch springs, lol.
