I started diving back in June 2010. Fell in love with dry suit diving right away. The warmest water I’ve gone diving in was 62 at the surface and 40 at 25ft. Coldest would have to be 34 at the surface and 38 at 20ft.

I’m looking for dive buddies so I can build up my dive log for dive master.

I dive out of NAC on JBLM, WA. Looking for Divemaster opportunities or just buddies to explore Puget Sound. Once I get enough dives in the area I will start local dive tours.

I was in Fairbanks and North Pole last September but didn’t bring my gear, I tried to talk my wife into snorkeling but she had seen some bergy bits floating down too many rivers to fall for that one, she is definetly a WWW.

Dry suits have come a long way, I borrowed one from the Mounties in the 60’s to recover an outboard that had fallen overboard in Labrador. No waterproof zipper then, you rolled the suit entry like a drybag so by 30’ it wasn’t a drysuit anymore :(

I’ve tried DUI’s and Whites but I don’t do enough cold water diving to justify the purchase.

My wife wants to see Alaska again but in the spring next time so maybe I’ll bring the 7mil suite along and join you on a dive, I know she won’t!

 Take care, Ray
