Hi.

I’m Carl.

I started diving in 2000, as part of a clever ploy to disguise a two-week vacation in the Florida Keys as some sort of upper level college credit. Despite my best efforts to the contrary, I learned a lot that summer.

I’ve not been the same since.

Many years and several hundred dive buddies later, I still love being underwater. It does’t matter if I’m shooting photos, video, fishing, working, mentoring, or just hanging out watching the ocean go by.

Over the years, I’ve learned countless things from many amazing people. Although I still have much to learn, it’s my hope to pass some of the lessons I learned the hard way to other divers that are facing these same challenges.

We only get so spend so much time underwater, and the trip frequently ends much too soon. Let’s see just how much we can get out of those glimpses into the underwater world!
