Ed received his open water certification in Monterey, California, in 1984 and has since logged over 3000 dives worldwide. He is a multi-talented SSI and NAUI Instructor who’s diving history has taken him around the world from the Kelp beds of Northern California to Surveying deep wrecks off Florida’s east coast, exploring the Cenotes of the Yucatan Peninsula and enjoying the crystal clear waters of the Cayman Islands and various locations throughout.
 He holds numerous diving certifications through PADI, NAUI, IANTD, NACD, NSS, and TDI ranging from Deep Air, Extended Range, Advanced Nitrox, and Technical Tri-mix. He is an avid cave diver, and has extensive experience in wreck exploration and mixed-gas decompression diving.
Ed has organized and guided several trips to the Florida Keys, Cozumel, Guam, Hawaiian Islands, Philippines, The Bahamas, Cayman Islands, and Bonaire. He offers Private and Semi-Private courses ranging from Basic Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air Nitox, Stress and Rescue, Search and Recovery, Dive Control Specialist, Advanced Rescue and a wide variety of specialized and continuing education courses.

Ed recently retired from the United States Air Force after serving more than 20 years as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, Jet Engine Specialist and Quality Assurance Inspector. During his tenure, he served in Panama, Japan, Korea, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Somalia, Africa, and Kuwait. His vast knowledge and background in Equipment Technology, Theory, and Operation make him one of the most sought after Equipment Repair Technicians in the industry.
