I am an advance open water... and am currentlty addicted to underwater photography.. love night dive.. on my third UW cam.. all point and shoot... my latest toy is a prosumer.. Canon G9.. then they came out with G10. =( No strobes yet.. but seriously thinking of getting one..
I am forever in my learning curve since i’m too stubborn to get certified.. =) I am just happy to be able to experiment on different settings since my "playground" is just in my backyard.. so to speak.. (if you call 2 1/2 drive your backyard!) We are blessed with very nice weather and diving is year round in the Philippines..
Just tried diving in Truk Lagoon and its great, historically.. pelagics.. its different very nice different, but I still crave for the different colors of the Philippine reef... so i’m diving on sunday! =)
And we are spoiled divers here.. =) One european diver told me that the Philippines is the underdiscovered dive haven.. almost dirt cheap but great dives. very nice amiable dive staff.. but don’t expect 5-star accomodations.... expect 4.. hehehhe.
One day I’d like to try the keys.. or EU.. but first, I need to explore everything inthis wonderful place in the south east of the Pacific... the Philippines
