An assault is caught on camera 50 feet underwater. The video shows one diver ripping off the air supply of another diver. Now authorities are investigating.

Taking some ones mask and reg off at 50’ isn’t an assault, that’s attempted murder!

A novice would have drowned but she has a few thousand dives.

One news source said his brother had assaulted another diver who had photoed him collecting fish but no charges were filed. With video from two cameras this brother will get nailed because his side of the story doesn’t hold water. And yes I did search to see if either was a member here.

I think there’s a lot more to this story than the video shows. Regardless, grabbing the gear off a diver during their dive should be a serious offense, as the likely outcome could be life threatening.

Wow, a scene straight out of an old James Bond film. Glad the photographer wasn’t seriously hurt!

And disappointed that the giant moray eel hidden nearby didn’t grab the evil-doer by the head.
