I understand the feeling. Diving can become an addiction with withdrawal symptoms including dry skin, loneliness, cracked o-rings, stale air, visions of mermaids, random pirate speech outbursts, with isolated attempts to snorkel in your bathtub.

I hear you man. My gills are getting dry. It’s been 11 weeks since my last dip and there’s nothing coming up in near future (at least locally... unless I’ll finally "convert" to ice diving).

Hi, my name is Ray and I’ve been dry for two weeks :( Okay I arrived in Jupiter this morning and will be under BHB tonight and tommorow so I’m feeling better :) For those of you who are going to point out the park closes at dusk, Pura Vida has a permit for tonight :)
If I’m coming back from a dive trip and don’t have another trip or two planned I get depressed. Living at the Jersey shore helps, I can always do an inlet to wet the gills.
I’m redoing the downstairs bath for an underwater look, that may help :)

Yeah, I rarely go more than 2 weeks without an open water dive and am always in the pool at least 1 night a week (which helps) but I do tend to get depressed and irritable if I’m not diving on a regular basis. People think I am crazy for diving in the winter months and I think they’re crazy for not diving. LOL

I tried to dive almost every day. I gt stir crazy when I don’t. I even dove in New England b/c i couldn’t go too long without diving (I live in South Florida). You are welcome to do some dives down here in south Florida if you like boat diving. I dive very slowly to look for tiny rare macro life. You can look me up on Facebook to see what I do. South Florida diving is awsome. Just got back from the Keys a few weeks ago. Drift dives in Jupiter is at the top of the list. Have not dove Blue Heron yet.

Ray, please tell me more about the inlets. Do you find nudibranchs there? Do you have photos? Are you on facebook too?

From adimitris: Anyone in south Florida wanna come dive? You may want to start another forum topic with this question. Include the location and possible dates in the title.
