 Manattee Springs Cheifland Florida Sun Sep 8th dive and picnic!

Who wants to meet up at Manattee Springs Sun Sep 8th to dive and picknic? They have picnic table pavilions with grills for anyone who wants to grill or just bring a bag lunch. The main spring is great for open water divers. Cat fish hole for more avanced dive. Be carfull of the siphon tube as it goes into a cave system. On the other side is another cave feeding the water in. Both popular with cave certified divers. No caves for me I am not certified to that level yet!

I called the park they only allow 35 divers max a day no single divers alowed. Must sign in with a buddy to be allowed to dive. Dont forget scuba cert card! The earlier the better as for dive shops often show up with students and they can fill up quick. I recomend before 8am. It might be early but for me it is a 2 hour drive and do not want to chance being turned away for diving. $4.00 per single $6.00 for 2-8 per vehicle.

Had a good day Manatee Springs today! Good weather Nice dives and fellowship. Off to Blue Grotto next Sat with the Reef Seeker’s Dive Club.
