Divers supply in Marietta is a good place to start. Brandon is the Manager. Heather, Nick and Matt are all very knowledgeable and friendly. You can check their website as they have dive events posted on their calendar. A good place to start to meet new divers is to join a local trip. As far as a"dive bar", can’t help with that. Good luck, Brian

Hey! I also am living in Atlanta and am always looking for dive buddies around here. (It’s a lot harder than you’d think!) Just linked up with a group of guys who make a weekly trip to Lake Lanier to do evening dives after work, just to get wet. They have trips tues and thurs of next week and then I’m sure I’ll stay in touch with them for future dives. Also, I’m always trying to organize other trips out of state just for weekends and whatnot. Lemme know if your ever interested, because I’m always down to dive. Oh, and Divers Supply is great, other than I dive Aqualung and they can’t service my gear, so I have to go to either Seaventures or Diving World. Hope to dive with ya sometime!

Hi, i am in Marietta GA, and also agree that Diver Supply is a good shot. I have also frequent "the dive shop" in marietta as well. thats where i got all my gear. One of the best places around i have heard is the florida springs. i am trying go now for a weekend. Also i was just at Pelham AL, 2 hours away but a nice weekend spot that is not a lake. let me know if you want to dive sometime, i am always up for it.
